March 12 Talking about Veterinary Medicine - MSN EncartaWhat is Veterinary Sciences? Veterinary Medicine, branch of medical science that deals with the health and welfare of animals. Doctors of veterinary medicine diagnose and treat the diseases and injuries of household pets, livestock, laboratory animals, zoo animals, and wildlife (see Diseases of Animals). They promote public health by combating zoonotic diseases (animal diseases that can be transmitted to humans) and by inspecting livestock and food processing procedures to insure a safe food supply. Some veterinarians actively participate in wildlife preservation and conservation, while others conduct scientific research into the causes and prevention of disease. Veterinary medicine is a challenging field. One significant difference between human and animal medicine is that veterinarians must be familiar with the anatomy and diseases of several different species. An appropriate treatment for one species might be ineffective or harmful if applied to another. Veterinarians must be proficient in both medicine and surgery, and be well versed in areas such as pediatrics, obstetrics, anesthesiology, plastic surgery, dentistry, dermatology, geriatrics, and orthopedics. They must deduce problems without sharing a single spoken word with the patient. Many veterinarians, therefore, are acute diagnosticians with top-notch powers of observation and intuition.

I am Devendra, a Physics and Operations Research grad by qualification and Content Writer by profession.
I started my career at the mere age 17 as a tutor from Allahabad. I taught Physics at several coaching institutes for competitive examinations. After several years of teaching I started working as Content Writer / Editor for Khurmis Publishing Group, New Delhi, an establishment of Dr. R.S.Khurmi, a renowned author of Engineering books. I handeled the science department of publication in general and Physics in particular.
After several years of working for Dr. R.S.Khurmi, I changed my job and started working for Pragati Infosoft Pvt. Ltd. New Delhi, which is a web publishing company as Content Writer. I was responsible to develop content related to education system existing within the country in particular and site administration in general. I was also responsible for preparing details of different career options for the benefit of students, Suggesting Key Words to SEO and and preparing guidelines for preparation of a particular examination within the country and abroad.
While working for different organisations, I continued with teaching physics for competitive examinations as well as boards and also preparing text for publishers and e-learning organisations.
Presently I am working for Web Interforge Pvt. Ltd., Gurgaon, as Content Writer.
I also provide content for websites and elearning on freelance basis.
I am also working for the projects of Khurmis Technologies, New Delhi in close cooperation with Mr.N.S. Khurmi, CEO Khurmis Technologies, New Delhi.
